Collection: Final Home
Launched by Kosuke Tsumura in 1994, Final home is dystopian and apocalyptic at first glance, but designed with real-life sensibilities in mind. The brand has a survivalist ethos with the idea of a wearable shelter that offered protection, insulation and storage. A typical item consists of multiple compartments throughout that could be padded with newspapers to provide an extra layer of insulation, or they could be used to store medicines and food in a natural disaster situation. Since discontinued, Final Home is today credited to have paved the way for functional wear.
